ALL CLASSES

-Ultimate Skills:
What do they do?
Ultimate skills generally give an enormous advantage, be it a massive amount of damage or a short time of immortality or even both things at the same time.
Why are they softbanned?
Some classes could easily stall a match until their ultimate is ready and then finish it all in a few seconds making matches boring and just about being able to cast your ultimate before the opponent, thus why they're all banned.

SWORDSMAN

-Highlander:
What does it do?
Highlander is a buff which lasts 30 seconds, during those 30 seconds any damage received that would kill you will leave you to 1 hp instead and start a 5 seconds countdown during which you cannot be killed.
Why is it softbanned?
After using it the player is effectively immortal for a short period of time and thus he could easily try to run through his opponent's skills without being damaged and simply land a few hits to win the match in case his opponent is also short on hp.
It effectively promotes reckless behavior and it's unfair toward other players who have to dodge and avoid your attacks while you can just take no damage from theirs.

-Parry Stance:
What does it do?
Parry stance is a buff which length depends on the skill level and gives a 100% block rate as long as the player isn't using any skill. Once he parries he can trigger counterslash too.
Why is it softbanned?
It's a stalling skill. The SM will just stand still to parry any attack that comes his way and the opponent will keep distance and/or only focus on avoiding getting hit by skills.

MERCENARY

-Iron Skin:
What does it do?
Iron skin is a buff that grants the user an unbreakable superarmor aswell as damage reduction for its duration.
Why is it softbanned?
When the mercenary has this buff enabled, he has no worry about getting interrupted by any skills and can play as recklessly as he wants. This gives an advantage and it usually stalls the game too as the other player will focus on dodging and keeping distance during its duration.

-Charging Howl:
What does it do?
Charging Howl grants the user higher superarmor and takes less damage during the duration of the skill.
Why is it softbanned?
Mercenary is already the class with the highest super armor and more super armor would create an unfair advantage over his opponent. This usually stalls the game too as the opponent's main focus during the duration of the skill will be to avoid getting hit by any skills and keep his distance.

-Battle Howl:
What does it do?
Battle Howl gives the user a Matk and Patk buff, aswell as a critical buff for a very long duration.
Why is it softbanned?
Mercenary's damage and combo abilities are already very high and a skilled mercenary could kill an opponent in one single combo, giving them even more Patk and crit is really unnecessary and unfair toward other classes, on top of that it is currently bugged and gives the Mercenary an insanely high patk.

SHARPSHOOTER

-Tracking Arrows: (limited to two usages per match)
What does it do?
Tracking Arrows shoot off a bunch of heatseeking/homing arrows that can hit the target regardless of its distance from the caster once successfully casted (although it can't be casted if there is no target inside the range of the skill).
Why is it softbanned?
The skill has very high SA break and breaks every skill in the game aswell as putting the enemy in the heavy impact state, it's impossible for almost every class to dodge and it deals good damage. The only classes that can dodge it are acrobats, sword masters, force users and priests, however it's extremely hard. SMs need to have aerial combo ready and need to time it well. Priests and Force Users can block the arrows with the use of relics and mirror but that needs prediction because they must cast them before the arrows are launched, and acrobats need to be lying down and chain wake attack, tip top and spiral kick to dodge it. It barely requires any effort to use and Bowmasters can use a high damage skill right after it with a 100% hit rate due to the fact that it staggers the enemy. It creates an unfair advantage and could stall the game by making the Bowmaster run around waiting for it to come out of CD then easily kite the opponent and land hits with no effort at all.

ACROBAT

-Spirit Boost:
What does it do?
Spirit Boost increases the action and movement speed by 30% by also shortening all cooldowns by 40%. Lasts for 12 seconds.
Why is it softbanned?
Acrobat is already a very fast class and with Spirit Boost, it's virtually impossible to react and dodge their skill, thus creating an unfair advantage. They can also use their skills more due to much lower cooldowns, which means many more chances for them to attack and way longer combos that can kill you in a single streak. This stalls the game too as the opponent will most likely focus on dodging and keeping distance instead of trying to fight back.

- Frowned upon: Spiral Vortex:
What does it do?
A lvl 32 skill thats used for dealing lots of damage.
Why is it frowned upon?
This skill simply does way too much damage when you think about how much damage and utility acrobats already have.

ELEMENTALIST

-Fire Shield:
What does it do?
Grants all skills of Elemental Lords much higher super armor and reduces all damage received by a variable amount depending on level.
Why is it softbanned?
The super armor their skills receive reaches the point where almost nothing breaks them. Freezing Swords with shield can tank stomp and ring shot, fire wall with shield tanks even circle swing and smite, same for fire ball. It creates a huge advantage to elemental lords by having lots of low risk high profit skills and giving them the ability to keep spamming skills recklessly one after another without being interrupted.

-Ice Shield:
What does it do?
Grants all skills of Elemental Lords much higher super armor and reduces all damage received by a variable amount depending on level.
Why is it softbanned?

ARCANIST

-Beyond Time:
What does it do?
Shortens all cooldowns by 80% for 9 seconds.
Why is it softbanned?
It lets force user spam skills and blink to the point where they can use high damage skills over and over again and be completely iframed by blinking all the time. Creates an unfair advantage and the opponent will just keep his distance and avoid getting hit by skills as long as the buff is on, which means stalling of the match. Will be hard to keep distance though as the force user can just use teleport over and over again and thanks to it they could chain together two time stops that will make you die in an instant.
Also, by removing the skill from the usable skills list you won't see Force Users trying to stall the match until the skill is off CD to just use it and start spamming you to death.

PALADIN

-Block:
What does it do?
Lets the paladin block a certain amount of attacks for some time.
Why is it softbanned?
It only stalls the game as the opponent will start interrupting everything the Paladin does if he uses block (by hitting him). Doesn't really give any advantage or disadvantage, just creates unnecessary stalling of the match and overall makes it more boring.

-Stance of Faith:
What does it do?
Let's the paladin block every attack by pressing the jump button and releases a 360° counterwave every time the block is successful.
Why is it softbanned?
It only stalls the game as the Paladin can just keep the space button pressed and the opponent can just run away until the buff runs out. Doesn't give any great advantage but makes things more boring and long.

-Heal:
What does it do?
Heals the caster for a certain amount of HP.
Why is it softbanned?
Paladins already have the highest health in the game and highest defense. They have no need for any more HP and it will stall the game too aswell as giving them an even bigger tanking ability.

-Divine Punishment:
What does it do?
Reflects damage onto the opponent when the opponent hits the paladin.
Why is it softbanned?
A player shouldn't have to take damage from outplaying the paladin and having the upper hand at the moment, also any smart opponent will try to dodge and keep its distance from the Paladin while this skill is on ultimately stalling the game.

-Iron Will:
What does it do?
Reduces all damage received by 54% for 8 seconds.
Why is it softbanned?
Paladins already have the highest health and highest defense in the game. This will stall the game and create an unfair advantage.

PRIEST

-Heal :
What does it do?
Heals the caster for a certain amount of HP.
Why is it softbanned?
Priests already have high hp and defense thus allowing this skill to be used as they please will give them an unfair advantage since they also have Healing Relic.

-Healing Relic:(limited to 1 usage per match)
What does it do?
Heals the priest's HP with every tick.
Why is it limited to onet?
Priests already have high HP and Defense so leaving them to use a healing skill freely will just give too much of an advantage, but considering the nature of the skill and the fact that it can be used for DPS purposes it seems too much to ban it altogether since priests are also the class with the lowest DPS, thus why it's limited to one use per match.

Is it correct that softbanned players may be playing only with other softbanned players? I'm wondering about the rules, cause I'm a newbie. Only started playing after my college term ended and I finished to write my essay on PvP (in Software engineering).
